At Wild Roots Dance, we believe in creating a community of people who love the power of movement as much we do. Our experienced and enthusiastic teachers, Vannia and Kindra, have been teaching in the Americas for 20+ years, working with a diverse population in both public and private settings ranging from Pre-K to professional dancers.
Our Team
Kindra Windish
Dance Educator
Kindra Windish began dancing in her parents' backyard. After graduating from the backyard and also the University of Oregon she moved to New York. While in New York, Kindra earned her Masters degree in Dance Education from New York University. She is currently the Director of the Dance Program at Chadwick School.
Vannia Ibarguen
Dance Educator
A gymnast in her youth, Vannia was a soloist ballet dancer at the Ballet Municipal de Lima (Peru) and graduated from Universidad de Lima as Systems Engineer. After earning her Masters degree in Dance at the University of Maryland, she moved with her family to Long Beach, CA and she is currently part of Cerritos College's Dance Faculty, and is Artistic Director of Global Water Dances
